Uhuru receives BBI report

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday received the Building Bridges Initiative report from Senator Yusuf Haji-led team.

Present during the presentation were Deputy President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga.

The report will be released to the public on Wednesday at the Bomas of Kenya.

Eighteen months have elapsed since the 14-member Building Bridges to Unity Advisory Taskforce was gazetted on May 31, 2018.

The team comprised: Dr Adams Oloo, Ms Agnes Kavindu, Senator Amos Wao, Ms Florence Omose, Prof Saeed Mwangumi, Mr James Matundura, Major (rtd) John Seii, Bishop Lawi Imathiu, Maison Leshomo, Senator Yusuf Haji, Prof Morompi ole Ronkai, Bishop Peter Njenga, Ms Rose Moseu and Archbishop Zecheus Okoth.

In addition, the team had two joint secretaries, Ambassador Martin Mwangi and lawyer Paul Mwangi.
