Two police officers shoot each other over woman near Quiver pub along Thika road

One Police officer is currently admitted to Nairobi Hospital in critical condition after being shot by his colleague in a confrontation that is said to have involved a woman.

According to a police OB report seen by K24 Digital, constable Festus Musyoka Kavuthi, a DCI officer attached to Starehe Police Station, was shot in the neck by his friend Lawrence Muturi.

Muturi is a police constable attached to Kasarani Police Station.

The incident is said to have happened on Friday near Quiver club along Thika Road around 2130hrs.

The drama began when Muturi came across his Starehe colleague with a woman, leading to the shooting.

According to the report, Musyoka was the first to shoot his colleague on the hand leaving him with injuries.

In retaliation, Muturi pulled his pistol and shot Musyoka on the neck and accidentally shot the woman identified as Felista Nzisa in the abdomen.

The lady and Musyoka were immediately rushed to Nehema Uhai Hospital for first aid services. Musyoka was later referred to Nairobi Hospital for specialized care.

Muturi on the other hand took himself to Radiant Hospital where he was treated and discharged in fair condition.

Kasarani DCI officers have confiscated riffles belonging to the two officers for further action.
