Three Form Four students at Maridadi Mixed Secondary School in Kwanza Constituency, Trans Nzoia County have tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Philip Kipyego, a teacher at the institution, the learners’ samples returned positive results after being tested late last week.

“The [KCSE] candidates had exhibited COVID-19 symptoms, and after being tested for the disease, the results came out positive,” said Kipyego.

The students were taken into quarantine at the Mt. Elgon Hospital in Kitale Town.
