Scores have been injured at Kenyatta Road along the busy Thika Superhighway after a luggage‐carrying lorry hit a public transport vehicle from behind forcing it out of the road.
The Matatu is said to have been travelling from Thika to Nairobi when the horrific incident happened.
The incident resulted in a crazy traffic snarl-up forcing vehicles to look for alternative routes to their destinations.

Those injured have been rushed to various hospitals within Juja and Thika.
"Those injured have been rushed to the nearest hospital even as we dig to ascertain how the accident occurred," a police officer who is not gazetted to talk to journalists said.
