Today, Kenyans have put Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi on the spot following the authenticity of his academic papers. This is after a court was informed about the loopholes in his academic certificate.

In a court hearing, Oscar was accused of forging his academic papers from primary school to college so that he could seek clearance to contest for an electoral seat in 2013.

The current state of affairs is an interesting turn of events for Sudi who once publicly called out Kanu national chairman Gideon Moi accusing him of having 'fake' academic papers.

In a video that went viral at the time, Sudi was captured on camera telling the press that he had previously advised Gideon to go back to school and finish his studies if he wanted to wished to lead the country.

Sudi claimed that Gideon dropped out of school and he currently owns a fake degree from Kabarak University.

"I advised Gideon to go back to school and finish his degree from where he left if he wants to lead this country. He should not consider this degree he got from Kabarak through dubious means.

"We want to investigate this degree he got from Kabarak. How can someone claim that he got a degree from their school?" Sudi asked.

Sudi further warned the government against rallying Gideon as the next president of Kenya. He told the government to make sure Gideon Moi is well organized before he competes for the presidency.

"I have heard that one is only qualified to vie for the presidency only if he has a degree. And Gideon with all the English he speaks, he don't have academic papers," the lawmaker said.

"Gideon and many of us who don't have academic papers are in the same league," he added.

Fast forward, a year after claiming that Gideon lacked genuine academic laters it is him who is now on the spot. Examination officials now claim that Sudi forged his class eight certificate and the Diploma.

Appearing before the court, John Matseche, a former head of examination at the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) claimed that the MP's Diploma in Business Management certificate purportedly issued by the institution was forged and no-existent.

According to the officer, the serial number on Sudi's alleged certificate belonged to one Elkana Kimutai while the admission number on the certificate was for one Scholastica Achieng Odhiambo.

Sudi has, however, defended himself noting that he is ready to produce several witnesses to prove that indeed he finished school and his certificates are genuine.
