Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi has for the first time paraded his family to Kenyans ahead of his endorsement as the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party at Bomas of Kenya.

Muturi, who is committed to succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta, earlier had breakfast with his family whom he described as the backbone of his greatness and as his support system.

On his official social media pages, Muturi shared photos of him having meals with the family members before he headed to Bomas of Kenya for his big day.

"To kick off this great day, I had breakfast with my family. Indeed, family is the backbone of every great person and is my support system," he said.

Muturi will be flying the DP party's flag as their presidential candidate after his endorsement today.
