Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has made the first move in restoring good relations with the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) boss, Maj-Gen Mohamed Badi.

Speaking in Nairobi on Thursday, Governor Sonko said he will withdraw all court cases filed against the NMS.

He said that he had reached an agreement with Gen. Badi, assuring city residents that they have resolved contentious issues that had caused much friction.

The friction between Sonko and Badi had pushed the governor to court where he sought to reverse the ceding of key dockets to the national government.
