A mother of two men who were killed alongside their two friends in Kitengela, Kajiado County on Sunday refused to go to the Syokimau home where the deceased were living hours after jetting into the country from the United Kingdom (UK).

A sorrowful mood engulfed at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport (JKIA) as relatives and friends received the bereaved mother Lucy Wanjiru who is a single mother.

“What have I done my Lord to go through this? Why did I lose my sons?” She posed.

Relatives, led by Joseph Macharia, were forced to carry her as she was overwhelmed with emotions, but she convinced Macharia that she won’t go to Syokimau and was taken elsewhere to rest.

Moments later, she was taken to Kenyatta University Teaching Referral morgue to view the remains of his sons.

Wanjiru, travelled to the UK in 2018 after her business which was based in the Nairobi CBD failed.

The family on Sunday, August 15 told K24 Digital that the duo will be buried in Leshau Pondo, Mayu village, in Nyahururu on Friday or Saturday.

Charles Chepkonga, Isinya police boss said that so far no one has been arrested in relation to the incident but investigations are currently ongoing.

He further revealed that detectives attached to the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) are on the ground investigating the matter.

“Police are working round the clock to unravel what happened during the incident,” Chepkonga said.

The four who also include Mike George, 29 and Nicholas Musa,28, were allegedly killed two weeks ago when a celebration meant for a birthday party ended tragic after they were brutally murdered in Kitengela.

The four had gone to Kitengela from their Syokimau home for the party.

Early this week, Kajiado Police Commander Muthuri Mwongera termed the case as complicated.
