A protected witness and Sharon had travelled to Nairobi from Kisumu by flight to meet one of the accused persons a week before Sharon’s death, court has been told.

Alex Kuya Omamo, the head of security at fly 540 for 8 years has told the court that Sharon boarded flight number 5h0408 on August 24, 2018, at 7:10 am from Kisumu to Nairobi.

He has also said that Sharon sat on Seat 7C while the protected witness sat on 7D.

"I confirm that I handled Fly 540 boarding passes for Sharon Otieno and the protected witness on August 24, 2018, at 7:10 am. Sharon sat on seat 7C, " Alex said.

Meanwhile, a business lady Veronica Wangeci Wambugu who was working as a receptionist at Sagret Hotel Nairobi also told Justice Cecilia Githua that while on night duty, a customer requested her to help him send a Mpesa to someone.

"The customer did not have a Safaricom line and requested me to use my Safaricom line to do a transaction to a number," Veronica said.

She went ahead and transacted ksh22200 using her mobile line and the money was received by a protected witness.
