Several people were on Monday feared dead at a construction site in Kangemi, Nairobi after soil debris caved in where a flyover is being constructed.
According to photos and videos are seen by K24 Digital, rescue operations are ongoing as tens of people are captured close to the scene of the tragedy.
The flyover, which is part of Wiayaki Way, has been under construction for months.

At the time of the accident, the engineers had already finished constructing pillars on both ends that would eventually connect the road once completed.
One of the pillars appeared to have collapsed with several people feared trapped in.
Three people had been rescued by the time of publishing this story.
According to a statement issued by Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), only one person was injured during the accident.
The person was a worker at the construction site.
Two other workers escaped with minor injuries.
