Sarah Wairimu, the prime suspect in Tob Cohen’s murder, on Thursday afternoon visited her husband’s grave at the Jewish Cemetery located along Wangari Maathai Road.

Wairimu says she laid a tombstone on the grave.

“At a suitable time, I will hold a private ceremony to commemorate the laying of the tombstone as appropriate,” said the 53-year-old in a press statement.

Wairimu was released on bail on October 11, 2019 by Justice Stella Mutuku.

She, alongside another suspect, are accused of killing Tob Cohen, who went missing on July 19, and was found murdered and dumped in an underground tank at his Kitisuru home on September 13, 2019.

Wairimu's lawyer, Philip Murgor, says it took his client two days to cement the grave.
