Samburu: Thieves break into armory, s***l two firearms in Suguta police post

Police in Suguta Marmar in Samburu County have launched manhunt for thieves who broke into police station's armory and stole two firearms.

According to a police statement seen by K24 Digital, the thieves broke into the armory at around 9pm on Monday, October 25.

According to Dicson Mandera, an officer at the Suguta police post where the incident happened, he found the door to the room where steel box is kept having been broken into and the steel box was opened.

"On checking, he found out that two G3 firearms S/No. A01278 and S/No. A04499 with two magazines and 40 rounds of 7.62mm missing," police report read in part.
