Nairobi Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku has lifted orders restraining Safaricom from registering Dennis Itumbi's mobile line.

This is was after lawyers representing Itumbi told the court that Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers had written to Safaricom to register Mr Itumbi's Safaricom line having completed their investigations.

The hearing of that case in which Mr Itumbi is charged with forging a letter that claimed that a section of Cabinet secretaries and politician from Mt Kenya were planning to assassinate Deputy President William Ruto will proceed on September 2 and 3 respectively.
