Kandara MP Alice Wahome has revealed that Deputy President William Ruto has postponed his trip to Murang'a County that was planned for Friday.

DP Ruto was set to attend fundraisers for a women's sacco in Mathioya and boda boda operators in Kangema constituencies.

This comes amid reports that President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to meet the Cabinet and Ruto on Friday as he and his handshake partner, Raila Odinga, prepare the ground for the launching of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) final report.

Further, on Saturday, the President is also to meet with the leadership of the Senate and National Assembly as they will play a crucial role in ensuring changes proposed in the BBI sail through the two Houses.
