David Rudisha survives road accident after bus hits his car in Nyamira

    According to Keroka OCPD Walter Abondo, Rudisha was driving to his Kilgoris home when his vehicle was hit from behind by an Easy Coach bus.

Olympic 800m champion David Rudisha on Sunday morning sustained minor injuries after his car was hit by a bus.

The accident occurred in Nyansiongo area on the Kijauri-Keroka Highway in Nyamira County.

According to Keroka OCPD Walter Abondo, Rudisha was driving to his Kilgoris home when his vehicle was hit from behind by an Easy Coach bus.

The athlete sustained minor injuries and none of the bus passengers were injured in the 2am incident.

After the accident, Rudisha was taken to Keroka Sub County Hospital where an x-ray was conducted revealing that he had not suffered any fractures.

He complained of pain on his lower limbs and chest but was treated and discharged.

His vehicle has been towed to the Keroka Police Station.
