A woman on social media has accused popular gospel singer Alex Apoko, commonly known as Ringtone, of impregnating her and refusing to pick her call after learning about her state.
According to the woman, who calls herself Akuju Mbosso on Instagram, she was on a job-hunting mission when she met Ringtone who promised her that he will get her something to do and earn money.
She claims the two met at a hotel and had intimate moments together that resulted in her pregnancy.
“Nlikua natafuta job then I met Ringtone Apoko. He promised kunipea job. Tukakutana kwa hoteli na bahati mbaya tukalala pamoja. I missed my periods so ikabidi niende pregnancy test na nikapata niko na mimba. Hashiki simu zangu tangu ajue niko na ball yake. Please help me. (I was looking for a job then I met Ringtone Apoko. He promised to secure a job for me. We met at a hotel and by bad luck, we slept together. I missed my periods and I was forced to go for a pregnancy test where I discovered that I am pregnant. He does not pick my calls after learning of I pregnant for him),” she wrote on her Instagram account.
She also shared the alleged call logs of when she tried reaching out to Ringtone on phone.
Ringtone has however laughed off the claims saying he has no ability to impregnate anyone.
“Please Kenyans buy me a charger because my phone is dead. Also, someone tell that woman I had an accident 2 years ago and doctors removed my private parts,” Ringtone replied to a post shared by a blog.
