The Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji has recalled blogger Robert Alai's assault case file for perusal.

Alai who was expected to plead to assault charges on Thursday morning did not after the DPP is said to have called for the file for further directions.

The blogger arrived at Kibera law court early in the morning waiting to be charged.

His accuser Gospel musician Alex Apoko alias Ringtone was brought in court in an ambulance from Hospital to follow the proceeds.

Speaking to journalists outside Kibera law courts, Ringtone says he will not settle the matter out of court.

The musician said that he was still in pain and all he needed was justice by having Alai prosecuted for assaulting him.

He says that he intends to undergo a scan test in South Africa since MP Shah does not have the equipment required for the same.

"l don't want any money from Alai as l drive a Range Rover and he drives a Subaru, " said Ringtone.

In the video that made rounds on social media a week ago, Alai is seen carrying a baton and pointing at the musician after their cars were involved in an accident.

Several photos and videos released by Ringtone after the incident show him bandaged on his face and arm.
