Renowned American judge Frank Caprio has accepted three goats donated to him by a Kenyan as Christmas gifts.

In a social media comment, Chelten Tuguno sent a heartfelt message to Judge Frank Caprio offering him the aforesaid gifts.

Tuguno wrote, "You, Frank Caprio, are a judge sent by God. I love you. I wish I could meet you before you get old. I have 3 goats that I have to give to you as a appreciation from me in Kenya."

Soon after reading the post, Judge Caprio called him to find out whether Tuguno was serious about the offer and to "find out what the story really was".

Caprio was honoured and impressed by the admiration from Tuguno and the gifts offered.

The judge suggested that the goats be given to local families who could not afford to feed themselves, to which Tuguno agreed.

“I have had a lot of experiences in life, but I have never been offered a goat. It is of great importance because my ancestors were goat herders," Caprio said.

Francesco "Frank" Caprio is an American jurist, politician, and currently serving as the chief municipal judge in Providence, Rhode Island and the former Chairman of the Rhode Island Board of Governors.

His judicial work is televised on the television program known as 'Caught in Providence'.
