Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula on Sunday called on President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) team to urgently release the ‘handshake’ report to Kenyans.

The Bungoma senator said that Kenyans are eagerly waiting for the BBI report because they believe it will lead to the betterment of their lives.

Wetangula, who was speaking at his Namuyemba home in Kanduyi Constituency, said releasing the report would end speculations rife in both the ruling party and opposition.

The senator said delay in releasing the report has caused undue animosity with political heat rising in the Tanga Tanga and Kieleweke groupings despite the Sagana unity meeting.

The former Senate minority leader also faulted the National Assembly and his Senate colleagues for increasing the country’s debt ceiling to Sh9 trillion.
