Jaramogi played an important role in Kenya gaining political independence and eventually adopting a new democratic constitution through former late president Mwai Kibaki who got into politics through the efforts of Jaramogi who convinced Kibaki to come back home from Makerere university.

Upon inquiry from Dr. Obote, Jaramogi fetched Kibaki where he was working as an assistant economics lecturer at Makerere University to return home to help build Kenya’s independence party Kenya African National Union (KANU) which was formed in 1960.

Youth manifesto

Raila Odinga shared his vision and youth manifesto that cuts across all sectors in the economy from infrastructure, Juakali sector, sports, education and manufacturing industry.

Through his various initiatives; Inua jamii initiative and Inawezekana initiative Raila promised to touch the lives of Kenyan youths from across the nation in their varying area of specialization.

Raila’s speech

The digital rally ended with a speech from Raila Odinga who talked about the importance of exercising their democratic right of voting in the upcoming general election.

Raila called on the youths to not only support him but also partner with him to shape the third revolution of Kenya of achieving the Kenyan dream of economic stability.

"As a people of Kenya we have had two major liberations; the first one ended colonial rule and gave us political independence and the second came as a result of dictatorship that ensued bad governance resulting to a new democratic constitution in 2010. The third is about economic liberation based on the vision of our founding fathers. Kenyans dream of a God-fearing prosperous developed society.

"Kenya has been compared with the worse, land of peace and prosperity in a sea of turbulence.
Kenya needs to be compared with successful countries. We want partnership not support with the youth."

Raila further promised to raise devolution resources from 15percent to 35percent to achieve economic growth.

"Give me a chance to lead this country and I promise to deliver," he concluded.
