Police in Embu County are looking for a man who was reportedly found making illicit brew using sanitary towels.
Police officers raided his factory at Nthawa in Siakago after a tip-off from members of the public that there was an illegal liquor business in the area.
A multi-agency team led by Embu County Commissioner Eddysson Nyale and the county police commander Daniel Rukunga stormed the premises where the illicit brew was being manufactured.

Nyale said police were on high alert following the increased cases of illegal liquor businesses that are being done in darkness.
He said that the suspect ran away after realising that police were following him.
Illicit liquor brewer was on police radar
Nyale said the man has been on police radar but he has been evading arrest.
Further, he said since they started the crackdown on illicit liquor they have been able to arrest nine people who will be arraigned in court.
He said they will leave no stone unturned until they weed out all illicit brew in the county.
"I want to send a stun warning to those manufacturing illicit brew in this county and advise them to look for another business to do because they will all be arrested and charged," Nyale said.
Police had to secure a court order to access the suspect palatial house in Siakago.
They were able to secure CCTV gadgets that will help police to ascertain the kind of activities being carried out in the house.
In a separate incident, two people were arrested after they were found repackaging illicit brew in Runyenjes town.
The suspect had rented a two-bedroomed house that they were using to manufacture the brew and repackage in the authorized brand.
