Over 1,000 discharged after recovering from coronavirus

Kenya on Sunday recorded the highest coronavirus recoveries after 1,062 patients, majority of them in home-based care were cured of the virus.

Making the announcement on Sunday in Kisumu, Health Cabinet Secretary said that 599 more people had tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

This brings total infections in Kenya to 26, 436.

However, two more patients died of the virus, pushing total fatalities in the country to 420.
