Radio personality Felix Oduor alias Jalang’o will be on the ballot in the Lang’ata parliamentary race after winning the ODM party ticket in yesterday’s primaries.

Jalas bumped his rival Oscar Omoke off the ballot after garnering 3,509 votes against Omoke's 1,612.

"God above everything! We won the Lang'ata ODM ticket!!" he wrote on Twitter.

The political novice is likely to face it off with incumbent MP Nixon Korir who is seeking a second term.

The DP Ruto’s ally who was the first Kalenjin man to win an election in the constituency, an area that had been dominated by the ODM party for decades will be running on a UDA ticket.

In the 2017 general election, Korir beat Omoke to become the Lang'ata Member of Parliament.
