The Anti-Corruption Court on Monday barred Migori Governor Okoth Obado from accessing his office pending the hearing and determination of his Sh73.4 million graft case.

The governor and his four children were slapped with varied cash bail terms, totaling Sh18.25 million after they denied the charges leveled against them.

Further, Nairobi Magistrate Lawrence Mugambi directed the governor to collect his personal belongings from his office under police escort.

Obado was also ordered to surrender his passports with the court and not to travel outside the country or interfere with witnesses.
