Narok Governor Samuel Tunai was on Saturday afternoon (October 17) involved in a helicopter crash.

The county boss was leaving a Melili village homestead in Narok North, when the incident happened. Tunai had attended the burial of the father of Narok’s minister of finance, Julius Sasai.

There were four occupants, including Governor Tunai, in the chopper, when the copter came tumbling down.

Fortunately, none of the occupants suffered major injuries.

The four were taken to Narok County Referral Hospital for medical attention.

It remains unclear what caused the accident.
