Nairobi policeman to be charged for murder of 20-year-old boy in Huruma

Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi has recommended the prosecution of police constable David Ronoh who allegedly shot and killed a twenty year old boy in 2015 in Huruma, Kiamaiko area .

The trial magistrate found and held from the evidence given by the witnesses during the inquest, it came out clearly he is the only who shot and killed Nurah Maricho.

He said that crucial evidence which includes items that were recovered from the deceased were never produced in court as evidence.

The items the court say were the somali knife ,mobile phone,  and Khs 5000 were never presented to court.

The family lawyer Dimus Kiprono had told the court during the inquiry  that it took  years later for police to commence investigation whose recommendation were never forwarded to the DPP for action.

The lawyer did submit that the incident has taken more than five years and it was IPOA who came to the rescue to have the the inquiry commenced.
