Felix Oduor alias Jalang’o has told off those claiming that he is involved in the business of wash wash to know that he is a product of pure hard work and determination.

The radio presenter who doubles up as a comedian, in a recent show hosted by blogger Robert Alai denied claims that he was dealing in the wash wash business saying that his competitors wanted to tarnish his name and brand.

His reactions come just a month after an exposé by Edgar Obare who linked Jalang’o to a ring of flashy individuals involved in the business of “wash wash” in the country.

In the expose, the blogger who has been hitting news headlines after a series of his revelations that hit big names in the country especially on the entertainment and mainstream media accompanied his claims with a series of photos.

The 43-year-old opened up on how he struggled while he was young until now, when his career has been doing well in the entertainment industry.

“Don’t link me to ‘wash wash’ con games. I can stand up and account for every coin I have,” he said, as he further asked people to be free from writing anything about him.

“I have worked very hard for what I own,” he added.

He also dismissed a series of photos that were exposed by Obare showing how he was hanging out with individuals who have been linked to the intricate web.

According to Jalang’o, he met some of those guys in events that he has been hired to emcee. He also said that it is time people understand that the social scene in Nairobi is very trifling.

Asked how he makes his money? Jalang’o proudly said that most of his money was courtesy of a salary he earns at Kiss FM and the several promotions that he is doing with various brands.
