Muranga Woman Representative Betty Maina and Mathira MP Eric Mwangi Wamumbi have officially gone public with their relationship.
The two first-term MPs made their affair known during Eric Mwangi's 35th birthday.
The lawmakers took to social media to profess their love for each other, with Eric hinting to his followers that the birthday event was a surprise organized by his lover Betty.

"I got a surprise of the year, thanks to the beautiful girl from the southern side of Muran'ga, Betty N Maina. Thank you all for the best wishes. Betty ee Sawa," he posted.
On her side, the Muranga legislator took to her Facebook account to wish her lover a happy 35th birthday and to appreciate her colleagues, friends, and family members who graced the event.
The event was graced by Gatanga MP Edward Muriu, Nyeri Senator Wahome Wamatinga, Nyandarua Senator John Methu, Gatundu South MP GG Wa Kagombe, Muranga County Deputy Governor Stephen Munania and former Nairobi nominated MCA Anne Thumbi.
Both dressed in black; the UDA MPs entertained their guests with a jig before Betty took to the stage to sing a romantic Kikuyu song to her lover.
The romantic moment was followed by a cake-cutting event, with the Woman Representative feeding the birthday boy his cake.
Friends and colleagues o the duo have since taken to social media to congratulate them after they went public.
