Kenya's music sensational Bahati on Monday, March 7, released a new song featuring ODM leader Raila Odinga.

In the song rubbed Fire, the former Prime Minister ushers the first stanza by mentioning some of his popular political quotes targeting the youth.

"Ninataka vijana wafanye kazi ya maana, munaunga mkono, munaunga mkonoo??... Vijana fire, vijana fire," Raila says before Bahati joins in a solo verse.

Bahati mentions, in the song, some of the goodies that the ODM boss will bring to the country if he becomes the next president.

The singer also praises Raila for his fight against corruption and the creation of jobs for the youth.

In the song directed by J Edgar, Bahati has also featured several politicians allied to Raila within the Azimio la Umoja movement.

Some of those politicians include MPs Maina Kamanda (nominated), Babu Owino (Embakasi East), Kanini Kega (Kieni), Governors Ali Hassan Joho (Mombasa) and Alfred Mutua (Machakos) among others.

Fire is the second Azimio la Umoja anthem song that features the ODM boss.

A few weeks ago, Raila dropped his first-ever music video, a song that is a rendition of the popular Luhya song Lelo ni Lelo composed by Benga star Emmanuel Masindi.

With campaigns now picking up the momentum, the country expects to see Raila Odinga featuring in more music videos. Singers Willy Paul and Trio Mio are expected to release songs featuring the presidential candidate in coming weeks.
