Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria had on Monday, June 28, used strong words against his colleague from Maragua constituency Mary Waithera Wamaua during a UDA campaign rally held in Banana village ahead of Kiambaa by-elections.

When given chance to address the residents, Kuria insisted that UDA candidate John Njuguna Wanjiku will win the polls despite his perceived young age.

According to a video in our possession, and whose content cannot be published as it is deeply offensive and arousing sexual emotions, the MP described how the UDA candidate can deal with Waithera.

Preceding the offensive comment, Kuria said, as loosely translated into English, "People’s hearts sometimes desire things they cannot handle.”

Kuria is one of the instrumental political leaders in UDA campaigns in Kiambaa constituency ahead of the July 15 polls, after his party’s victory in Juja by-elections that were conducted last month.

He had been on good terms with Waithera until when she ditched Tanga Tanga for the Kieleweke wing that supports President Uhuru Kenyatta.

At Kiambaa, the supremacy battle is arguably between President Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto despite the fact that the vacancy has attracted eight candidates.

Waithera is among many leaders from outside Kiambu County who are supporting Kariri Njama of Jubilee in the by-elections race.

K24 Digital team’s effort to reach out to the Maragua MP for her remarks on the matter ended in vain as our calls went answered.
