Wajir Woman Representative Fatuma Gedi on Thursday carried suitcase that she said it contained evidence against Deputy President William Ruto land-grabbing cases.

Fatuma, who arrived in Parliament in the afternoon, said she was ready to table the evidence against the DP as directed by Speaker Justin Muturi.

"This bag contains evidence on how one William Ruto has grabbed land of this country and how Kenya is not safe in his hands. Stay tuned and follow the proceedings," she told journalists before entering Parliament buildings.

There was drama on Tuesday in the National Assembly after the MP linked Deputy President William Ruto to a land-grabbing scandal.

"When we talk about land grabbing, we know the people who grabbed land, including the land that belongs to students.

"We know who owns the land in Taita Taveta, we know who grabbed land in Laikipia. It is the same person," Gedi said.

Muturi asked the legislature if she was ready to prove the allegations.

"Are you ready to provide evidence by way of substantiation?" He posed.

Gedi answered: "Speaker, give me two days and I will provide the details."
