Lugari MP Ayub Savula has been arrested.
The MP was driving in a convoy of cars headed to Busia where Amani National Congress and Ford Kenya leaders are set to address a public gathering.
Police arrested the MP at Sabatia market while refueling his car.
He was taken to Mumias Police Station where police are holding him until he can be charged with flouting COVID-19 regulations.
