Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria now claims he found the late Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT Manager Chris Musando's car together with Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege.

In a tweet, Kuria said they even recorded statement together but she was never questioned thereafter.

"The night we found Musando's vehicle at Roysambu after, we had come from Muranga campaigning for Uhuru Kenyatta with Sabina Chege.

"In fact we were tipped off by her friends. Both of us recorded statements with DCI Nairobi Area.

"How come no one ever asks her or Uhuru who killed him?" He asked.

Kuria became a person of interest after sharing a photo of the then-missing IEBC ICT Manager.

Musando was killed on July 31, 2017 days to the bitterly contested presidential election.

Police found the body of Msando and a woman in the Kikuyu area on the outskirts of Nairobi and took them to the city mortuary.

"In our mind as a commission, the only issue is who killed him and why, and that is the question that must be answered," Chair IEBC Wafula Chebukati said in a televised press conference soon after his death.

Chebukati then demanded that the government provide security for all of his staff.
