Exiled Kenyan lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna has once again been denied entry into the country after the Kenyan government allegedly issued a red alert against him.

The Canada-based lawyer was set to land in Kenya on Tuesday, November 16 but will have to wait longer after the Kenyan government denied him entry into the country.

Taking to his social media page, Miguna revealed that the airline he was set to use to fly from Berlin Brandenburg to Nairobi had informed him that the government had denied them permission to allow him aboard their plane to Nairobi.

"This is to inform Kenyans and the world that @airfrance officials at the check-in counter at the Berlin Brandenburg Aiport have just informed me that the Government of Keny sent them a "red alert" this morning that cannot allow me to Nairobi," Miguna said.

Miguna confirmed his claims by sharing a signed copy of denied boarding certificate from the airline. In the certificate, the airline did not, however, reveal the reason why Miguna was denied entry to Nairobi.

Miguna has, however, vowed to move to court to challenge his denied entry to Kenya.

It is the third time Miguna Miguna is denied entry into Kenya with the first red alert was issued against him was on March 26, 2018. This is when he attempted to fly back into the country after he was deported in 2017.

His second attempt to get into Kenya was in January 2020 but upon reaching Germany, he was denied boarding rights on Lufthansa Airline to fly to Kenya.
