A man who lost his penis in the hands of irate Commercial Sex Workers in Kakamega is now has been freed after one year.

The man who is only identified by his initials S.A on Thursday about two weeks after being set free explained how he met the ordeal insisting that he now needs Human Rights intervention.

He explained that he had approached a commercial sex worker in Kakamega town on June 18, 2020, and they agreed that he pays Ksh150 for the service.

"I paid upfront and we went to a room and as I enjoyed, a lady who was hiding under the bed made away with my wallet," the man narrated.

"When I asked, the lady whom we had an agreement with turned wild and screamed as she called for help while accusing me of refusing to pay her," he added.

"Her colleagues joined me and they beat me up before I was thrown out of the room," he added.

The next day anger drove him to the exact location where he had picked the lady and before he could spot her, she jumped from a corner and started assaulting him as she demanded money.

"She slapped me then her colleagues joined to stir up the commotion. They beat me up and chopped off my penis, threw it on the road before they all disappeared," he narrated.

The commercial sex worker then made a formal report at Kakamega police station that the man had refused to pay for the service rendered.

Police officers then swiftly made their investigations and arrested him from the hospital bed where he was admitted. The officers then took him to court after he healed.

For one year, the accuser never stepped in court to follow the proceedings before S.A was set free on June 3, 2021.

"In as much as I won the case, losing my manhood really hurts," he said.
