Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives based at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) have arrested a man who has been defrauding Kenyans their hard-earned money by promising them nonexistent jobs.
Boniface Ouko is suspected to be the mastermind of a syndicate that has been asking job seekers money in exchange for fake job letters purported to have been issued by Eurocraft Agencies.
Eurocraft Agencies is a ground handling company based at JKIA.

According to a report by the DCI, one of the detectives who posed as a jobseeker was issued with a fake appointment letter as a financial analyst.
"The mastermind behind the scam was lured to a trap laid by our JKIA based detectives last evening before being arrested. Prior to his arrest, the 29-year-old suspect had presented a fake letter of offer to a detective posing as a job seeker.
"The detective had been offered a financial analyst position, in the offer letter purported to have been issued by Eurocraft Agencies," DCI statement reads.
The DCI further revealed that the suspect has been operating as Peter Kamuri and had developed a fake Eurocraft security pass bearing the name.
Many unsuspecting Kenyans had to part with their hard-earned money before being handed the letter.
The suspect charged his victims medical fees, security pass fee, interview fee and uniform fee among others in his mode of operation.
DCI is now appealing to those who have been conned by the suspect to report to JKIA Police Station for action to be taken.
The suspect is being held at JKIA Police Station pending arraignment on Monday, August 30.
