Man left nursing gunshot wounds after being found in compromising position with 65-year-old man’s wife

A 35-year-old man is nursing serious gunshot wounds after he was allegedly shot at by a 65-year-old man upon being found in a compromising position with the man's wife.

In the incident reported at Kitengela police station, it was reported by, a resident of the Kimalat area through the police hotline at around 0310hrs, that he heard several gunshots from a nearby home.

Following the distress call, Police officers on patrol rushed to the scene and established that it was one Paul Lenana a licensed firearm holder number 003105, Ceska serial number B250159, who had allegedly fired several shots upon arriving at his home at around 0250hrs and found his wife namely Mary Wanjiru with another man known as Daudi Kiprop inside his car parked outside Lenanas compound.

According to the report, Lenana fired six rounds of Ammunition on Kiprop's car registration number KCR639U making Toyota ISIS silver in colour.

"The said Kiprop sustained a gunshot wound on the right hand below the elbow, while Wanjiru sustained bruises on the left buttock and left upper back around the shoulder "reads the report.

Following the incident, Lenana has since been disarmed and the firearm secured.

Directorate of criminal investigations officers(DCI) have since taken over the matter, while Kiprop is in stable condition at the Nairobi west women's hospital awaiting to undergo an operation, to remove a bullet still lodged in his arm.
