Macharia was rushed to modern Komarok healthcare in Utawala before he was referred to Mama Lucy Hospital.
Police in Kayole arrest suspect
The wife has since been arrested for attempted murder.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the woman had attempted to distort the evidence by cleaning the scene and throwing away the knife.
After interrogation, police managed to recover the weapon used in the attack.
