Man dies inside Murang’a lodging after allegedly taking V****a, leaves w***n helpless

A man on Wednesday night died inside a hotel room while in the company of a lady.

Frederick Opiyo allegedly died moments after he emerged from the bathroom in what police suspect was after he used Viagra.

At the time, he was in the company of Mary Mwende, 35 who joined him in the room at 10:00 pm.

A police report seen by K24 Digital revealed that Mwende was having a shower just moments after they had taken supper when she heard the man groaning in pain.

“The deceased booked the said room at around 9 pm and was later joined by Mwende. They took supper together before the man entered the bathroom and emerged after few minutes,” the report read in part.

Opiyo then asked Mwende that they retire to bed but she said she first takes a shower and proceeded to the bathroom.

As she was taking shower, she heard the man groaning in pain and when she tried to inquire what was happening, she found him lying in bed naked.
This prompted her to raise alarm and she reached out to the guard and an attendant at the hotel.

Police were alerted and when they arrived at the scene, they found one satchet of Vega100(Viagra).

The body was removed to Murang’a Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue awaiting postmortem.

The matter is currently being investigated by police officers attached to Maragua police station in Murang’a County.
