Man dies after being stabbed by lover at chang’aa den in Molo

Residents of Bulbul village in Molo, Nakuru County have been left in shock after a notorious chang'aa brewer allegedly murdered her estranged lover early on Sunday. 

According to eyewitnesses, the duo said to be in their late 40s had a disagreement before the woman identified as Caroline Chepkemoi stabbed her lover, John Kiprono, on the head and chest.

After the stabbing left for his village in the nearby Mawe Mbili but Good Samaritans took him to Kapsinet dispensary.

Molo Sub County Police Commanders Joseph Karanja confirmed that the man died of his wounds at the Kapsinet dispensary.

The body was moved to Elburgon Sub-County mortuary awaiting post-mortem.

Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt for the assailant who is still at large

Following the incident, angry locals razed the woman’s houses.

Locals described the assailant as a chang’aa brewer who has destroyed the lives of many people in the area.
