Popular musician Willy Paul has weighed in on the Juliani-Ng'ang'a debate, asking Kenyans to cut the couple some slack.

The Saldido records CEO, who has his fair share of controversy, claims that it is time Kenyans let the pop artist enjoy the fruits of his hard work. In a video that has since gone viral, the Sitolia hitmaker encourages his fellow artiste to keep going and give critics a deaf ear.

"You guys, let Juliani be. Let him enjoy the fruits of his hard work. Juliani apo apo buda, shikilia buda," he said.

Willy Paul's statement comes in the backdrop of series of drama that have clouded the relationship of Juliani and the ex-wife of Machakos governor Alfred Mutua.

The couple has since confirmed their relationship despite the pop artist receiving death threats over his association with the former Machakos county first lady. Lilian, through her Instagram, stated that they were two conscious adults who have chosen to be together. She implored on her hater to respect their choice.

Human rights activist Boniface Mwangi, days ago, revealed the phone number that was used to call and send texts to the musician, warning him from posting photos with Lilian Ng'ang'a.

My very good friend Juliani was threatened yesterday. Someone called him and texted using 0773912088. He told him to stop posting pics posed with his friend Lillian Ng'ang'a, and if he continues, they will kill him. He has recorded a statement at Kileleshwa Police Station Mwangi tweeted.
