Lawrence Warunge and his girlfriend, Sarah Muthoni, the suspects linked to the murder of four family members and a farmhand in Karura, Kiambu County will remain in police custody for 14 days.
The two were arraigned at the Kiambu Law Courts on Monday, January 11, following their arrest over the weekend.
The duo's case will be mentioned on January 25, as police tie up loose ends, including whether the suspect orchestrated the murders alone.
Already, Mr Warunge, 22, confessed to the killing, telling police that he was the only one who planned and executed his family members in the macabre massacre that has shocked the country.
