KPLC announces planned power interruptions in 4 counties

Several parts of the country including Nairobi, Embu, Nyeri, and Kiambu will experience a scheduled power supply outage power outage tomorrow, Thursday, December 29, 2022, Kenya Power has announced.

In a statement shared via their official Twitter account, the entity stated that Nairobi areas that will be affected are; Kenafric village, Babadogo Laundry village, Kenafric Rubber factory, PZ Cussons, Sai Raj, Roy Motors, Kenafric Business Park, Riverside Estate, LG Harris, Unicorn and adjacent customers.

The county will experience shortage between 9: 00 am and 5:00 pm.

"Please be advised that tomorrow there will be planned shutdowns in the following areas below," the statement reads in parts.

Areas that will be affected in Embu county are Kathanjure Market, SA Kyeni and adjacent customers, while areas that will be affected in Nyeri county are Kangocho C/Fact, nKangocho market, Karumaindo, and Kiriti TBC.

Both counties will experience interruption between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Areas that will be affected in Kiambu are Githunguri town, Githunguri hospital, Fresha dairy, and Kamuchege market.
