President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday, January 14, reshuffled the Cabinet, notably removing Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary, Monica Juma, from the docket to that of Defence.
Defence CS Raychelle Omamo takes over from Juma at the Foreign Affairs ministry.
Labour minister Ukur Yatani, who was acting as the National Treasury CS following the removal of Henry Rotich last year, has been confirmed to the finance docket.
Peter Munya, who was the Trade and Industrialization minister, has been moved to Agriculture.
Betty Maina takes over the Trade and Industrailization docket as minister.
Water CS Simon Chelugui has been taken to the Labour docket, taking over from Yatani.
Health minister, Sicily Kariuki, has been moved to the water docket, originally headed by Chelugui.
Mutahi Kagwe takes over from Sicily Kariuki at Afya House.
Agriculture minister Mwangi Kiunjuri has been axed from the Cabinet.
