A middle-aged man, who is a pastor of an Evangelical church in Kisumu, has been arrested after a raid on his house early Saturday yielded a new discovery into his dark side.

Inside the house of the said-preacher at Manyatta area, were tens of stolen household items, including expensive electronics.

Area chief Philip Onyina told K24 Digital that the pastor was in a group of robbers, who had raided Carwash area on Friday night, and managed to steal items from one of the houses.

Carwash residents positively identified him, resulting in his arrest.

Neighbours, who managed to forcefully access his house early Saturday, were shocked to discover that some of their stolen house items, were in the pastor’s possession.

The livid neighbours frog-marched the pastor to Kondele Police Station, where he is being detained.

Police say they are looking for the suspect’s accomplices.
