Kisii: Probe launched over viral clip showing pupils being forced into performing indecent act

Police in Kisii County have launched investigations after pupils from Itumbe Dok Primary School were recorded in a viral video performing an indecent act.

Police said they visited the school and confirmed the incident which has since gone viral on social media platforms.

"It was reported by Nyamache Sub-County Education Director by the name Linet Onduso that today at around 0900hrs she received a clip exposing school pupils in an indecent act.

"On inquiry, she discovered it originated from Itumbe Dok Primary School which is within Nyamache Sub-County," a police statement seen by K24 Digital read in part.

Pupils recorded

The police and the director visited the school and launched a probe into six teachers who may have been involved in recording the viral video.

"Officers from Nyamache Police Station together with the reportee visited the said school and established that the clip originated from there and the following teachers from Itumbe Dok Primary School and are assisting in the investigation; Everline Moraa, Gladys Kenyanya, Angelicia Joseph, Moraa Nyairo, Catherine Mokaya, and William Isoka.

"Investigations commenced and other referable charges and report to follow," the report added.
