Kiambu woman stabbed to death after alleged confrontation between two men

Detectives in Kiambu are probing the murder of a 35-year-old woman whose dead body was found inside her house bearing stab wounds.

In court documents seen by K24 digital, the deceased's neighbour reported the matter at Kiambu police station on Tuesday, June 15.

"It was reported by one Douglas Masinde, a resident of Matopeni Area about 6kms South of the station that one of his neighbours had been stabbed to death by an unknown assailant," the report read in part.

After visiting the scene of crime, detectives from Kiambu police staion reported that two men were around when the murder happened.

"National Police Service officers from this command visited the scene where it was established from the neighbours that at around 0130 hrs an unknown male adult arrived at the house of the deceased only known as Wacheke and started banging on the door since there was another man in the house," the report said.

According to police, confrontation ensued and in the process the deceased one Wacheke a kikuyu female adult aged about 35-year-old was stabbed on the right side of the neck and succumbed to the injuries.
