Kenya Power announces planned power interruptions in 7 counties

Kenya Power issued a notice informing Kenyans of power interruptions in select parts of the country.

The utility firm, in a statement, said there would be a scheduled outage from 9 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in parts of seven counties.

"Good Evening. The listed areas will be affected by planned power interruptions tomorrow (31st January 2023). The interruption is part of network maintenance," Kenya Power said in a statement.

The seven affected counties affected by the planned power interruptions include; Nairobi, Kajiado, Kisumu, Siaya, Nyeri, Meru and Kiambu.

Parts of Nairobi affected include; Peponi Gardens, parts of Spring Valley, Eldama Park, Donyo Sabuk Ave, Boundary Lane, Embassy of France and adjacent customers.

Parts of Kisumu county affected include; Nyamasaria, Molem, Jumbo Mattress, Katiju, Angola, Rabour, Nyang'ande, Ranjira.
