Twenty-five more people on Monday tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total tally in Kenya to 912.
The Ministry of Health also revealed that Meru, Garissa and Taita Taveta counties also recorded their first cases.
The new patients — 23 Kenyans and two Somali nationals — were confirmed following the testing of 1,139 samples over the last 24 hours.

As border points become Covid-19 hotspots, Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS), Dr Rashid Aman, said that the government will set up a laboratory at the Namanga border.
Dr. Aman said that the laboratory will help speed up the testing and releasing of Covid-19 results.
The Health CAS revealed that 53 truck drivers had tested positive for Covid-19 at several border points on the Kenya-Tanzania border.
They included 51 Tanzanians and two Burundians.
Face masks in cars
While addressing journalists at the daily Covid-19 briefings, Government Spokesperson (Rtd) Col. Cyrus Oguna said police should not arrest those not wearing face masks in their private cars.
However, Oguna said that people should at all times wear the masks in public, hence the encouragement to ensure they keep the protective gear in their cars.
