Media personality Kamene Goro on Thursday, July 15 sparked outrage among social media users after making a sensitive post targeting people battling mental health.

Through her Instagram page, the radio presenter made the post that irked social media users forcing her to pull it down.

"Mental health na hamna akili (Mental health issues yet you have brains)," read the post.

In no time, Kamene had made it to the trending tab on Twitter with Kenyans demanding for her sacking while others trolled her over her weight.

Below are reactions following the insensitive post.

@lloydonyango: Shaffie Weru and DJ Joe Mfalme had their contracts terminated for a lesser crime than Kamene Goro’s. Sponsor culture and attitude is something you choose for yourself as a man/lady but mental health you don’t have a choice. Kamene Goro should retract and apologize

@Bravin_Yuri: This post by Kamene Goro has since been deleted. I would however like to tell Kamene that there is nothing funny about making fun of Mental Health. There is already too much stigma towards people who are undergoing mental health challenges. Use your platform for the better

Drey Mwangi: What Kamene Goro has posted just triggered my PTSD & anxiety. I used to look up to her since i wanted to be on radio so bad, turns out the people who can encourage us about mental health are just bullies hiding behind radio

@Colloidal_: It is very sad to see a personality who can use her audience in reaching out and creating awareness on mental health using the same platform to squash matters on mental health. What a shame from Kamene Goro

Kamene was yet to issue a statement on the same by the time of publishing.
